Files that travel with the PDF
Attachments are stored inside the PDF file. Most PDF readers show them in an attachments or paperclip panel.
Any file type can be attached. The PDF becomes larger by about the size of the attached files.
Private
Your file is processed inside your browser with the open-source pdf-lib library. It is never uploaded, and nothing is saved after you close the page.
Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and changed on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Can I remove attachments later?
Yes. Use Remove PDF attachments, or Extract PDF attachments to save them as files.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
