How it works
Open the PDF to split
Choose the document you want to divide into smaller PDFs.
Select pages and plan the split
Check the page thumbnails. Save each selected page separately, or add selections as custom PDF groups and arrange the output files.
Download the split PDFs
Download each document separately or save all of them in a ZIP.
Choose exactly how to split
One PDF per selected page creates a separate file for each checked thumbnail. Clear the selection to pick just the pages you need.
Build custom page groups lets you select pages, add that selection as one PDF, and repeat. Groups can contain non-adjacent pages, reuse pages, or use a different order. Edit, remove or move each planned PDF before splitting.
Type page ranges remains available for quick entry: 1-3, 4-6, 9 makes three PDFs.
Your document stays with you
Add one PDF, choose how to split it, and press Split PDF. The new files are made by your browser on your own device, and you can download them one by one or as a ZIP file.
Nothing is uploaded, so you can safely split documents with personal or business information.
Tips for splitting
Preview the uploaded pages directly on this page. Page numbers count from the start of the file and may differ from numbers printed on the document.
Ranges can overlap or repeat, so you can make different packs from the same document, for example 1-2, 1-5. If you only need one part, type just that range.
Each new PDF keeps the original pages exactly as they were, including text you can select and copy.
Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and converted on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Can I select pages visually?
Yes. Select the page thumbnails to split them individually, or build custom groups containing any pages you choose. Review the planned output PDFs before you split.
How do I write page ranges?
Use page numbers and dashes, separated by commas. For example, 1-3, 4-6, 9 makes three files: pages 1 to 3, pages 4 to 6, and page 9.
Can I split several PDFs at once?
One PDF at a time. Adding a new file replaces the current one.
Will the quality change?
No. Pages are copied as they are.
What is the size limit?
up to 500 MB for the PDF.
