From spreadsheet to JSON
CSV is the simple table format that Excel, Google Sheets and databases export. Each row becomes one JSON object, with the column names from the first row as keys. Turn off "First row has the column names" to get each row as a list instead.
Values in quotes may contain commas, quotes and line breaks; they are read correctly. Rows that have fewer or more values than the header are reported in the summary.
Numbers, true and false
With "Turn numbers and true/false into values" on, 42 becomes the number 42 and true becomes a real true. Values with a leading zero, like 007 or phone numbers, stay as text so nothing is lost.

Is my data uploaded?
No. The CSV is converted inside your browser and never leaves your device.
My file came from Excel in Europe and has semicolons. Does it work?
Yes. "Find it for me" detects semicolons, tabs and pipes, or you can choose the separator yourself.
How large can the file be?
up to 500 MB. The preview shows the first 50 rows; the download has all of them.
