One converter for every image
You do not need to know what format a file is. The converter reads the first bytes of each file and shows the format it found, such as HEIC from an iPhone, AVIF from a website, or a GIF. Then it converts everything to the format you choose.
Choose JPG for photos you want to share, PNG when you need transparency or perfect quality, WebP for websites, BMP for old programs, or ICO for icons and favicons.
Hit an exact file size
Many upload forms say "maximum 200 KB" or "under 1 MB". Type that number in Target size, and each image is made as close to it as possible without going over. For JPG and WebP the converter searches for the highest quality that fits. If the quality would get too low, it makes the image slightly smaller instead, which usually looks better.
The result row shows the final size, dimensions and quality, so you can check it before you download.
Private by design
Most online converters upload your photos to a server. This one works inside your browser: your images are opened, converted and saved on your own device. Re-saving also removes hidden photo data such as the GPS location where the picture was taken.

The converter tries quality settings until the file fits under your size. If even low quality is too large, it makes the image a little smaller step by step.

Yes. Converted images are saved without the GPS position and other hidden photo details.
