    How it works

    1. Add your images

Choose JPG images to jpg to png on your device.

    2. Check the conversion options

Check the PNG output in the preview before saving.

    3. Convert and download

Save your PNG results individually or download the converted images together as a ZIP.

When to convert JPG to PNG

PNG is a lossless format: once your image is saved as PNG, it will not lose any more quality, even if you edit and save it many times. That makes PNG a good choice for images you plan to edit, and it is the format some apps and websites ask for.

Converting does not bring back detail that the original JPG compression removed. The PNG looks exactly like your JPG, and the file is usually larger.

    Convert privately, on your device

Add your JPG photos, press Convert to PNG, and download the results. You can convert up to 50 images at once and get them all in one ZIP file.

Your images never leave your device. The PNG is saved without the GPS position and other hidden details that many cameras and phones store in JPG photos.

    Common reasons to use PNG

Some design tools, print services and website builders ask for PNG files. PNG is also a safe working format when you plan to add text, arrows or other edits, because saving it again does not reduce quality.

If you only want to share or store a photo, JPG is usually the better choice because the files are much smaller. Use PNG when an app requires it or when you will keep editing the image.

    Questions

    Are my files uploaded?

No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and converted on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Will the PNG have better quality than my JPG?

No. PNG keeps the image exactly as it is now. It cannot restore detail that was lost when the JPG was first saved, but it will not lose any more.

Why is my PNG file bigger?

PNG stores every pixel without lossy compression, so photos usually become larger. That is normal.

Can I make the background transparent?

Not with this tool. A JPG has no transparent areas, so the PNG will have the same solid background.

    Is there a limit?

You can add up to 50 images at a time, up to 500 MB each.
