The JSON layout
Each page has its size, its text, and its lines. Each line lists its pieces of text with x, y, width and height in points, measured from the top left of the page.
Scanned pages have no text; run OCR first.
Private
Your file is processed inside your browser with PDF.js (Apache-2.0). It is never uploaded, and nothing is saved after you close the page.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and changed on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Does it read scanned PDFs?
Only if they have a text layer. Use OCR PDF first.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
