What is kept

This is a light converter: the exact Word page layout, pictures, headers, footers and text boxes are not copied. For an exact copy, use Save as PDF in Word.
Why private matters for Word files
Contracts, CVs and reports are often in Word. Other converters upload them; here they are read in your browser.

Your file is processed inside your browser with mammoth (BSD-2), marked and pdf-lib. It is never uploaded, and nothing is saved after you close the page.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and changed on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Are pictures included?
Not yet. The note after converting says how many pictures were left out.
Does it work with .doc files?
No, only .docx. Open the .doc in Word or LibreOffice and save it as .docx first.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
