    Privacy and safety

    Are my files uploaded?

No. Every tool runs inside your browser. Your files are opened and converted on your own device and are never sent to our server or anyone else.

    How can I be sure?

Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab and use a tool. You will see that no request carries your file. Our How it works page explains the steps.

Do you use cookies or trackers?

No. We use no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Your browser remembers your theme choice and, only if you opt in, your recent tools.

Is it safe for private documents?

Yes, that is what the tools are made for. Because files stay on your device, contracts, IDs and medical papers are never copied to a server.

    Using the tools

    Is OnDevice Tools free?

Yes. All tools are free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how often you use them.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The tools work in a modern browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari or Samsung Internet, on a computer, tablet or phone.

How big can my files be?

File tools accept up to 500 MB per file. Large files need more device memory; each page also shows its batch limit.

How many files can I convert at once?

Most image tools take up to 50 files at a time. You can download the results one by one or as a single ZIP file.

    Technical questions

    Which browsers are supported?

Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and Samsung Internet. Very old browsers may not support the features the tools need.

Why is a large file slow on my phone?

Your device does the work, so speed depends on its processor and memory. Large files or many files at once can take longer on older phones.

Do I need an internet connection?

Only for your first visit. After that, the site is saved on your device and the pages you have opened keep working offline. The conversion itself never sends your files over the internet.

Where do my converted files go?

They are saved by your browser, usually in your Downloads folder. When you close the tab, the copies kept in the browser's memory are cleared.
