How it works
Add the PDFs to combine
Choose at least two PDFs; each can be up to 500 MB.
Choose pages and arrange PDFs
Review the page thumbnails, select which pages to include, and use the document and page arrows to set the merge order.
Download the merged PDF
Review the combined page count and save the complete document.
Combine PDF files into one
Add two or more PDF files, set the order, and press Make PDF. The pages of all files are joined into one document, in the order you chose. It is an easy way to send one file instead of many.
Drag the rows on a computer, or use the arrow buttons on a phone or tablet, to change the order. Give the new file a name before you download it.
Private by design
Many PDF tools upload your files to their servers. This one does not: the files are joined inside your browser, on your device. That matters for contracts, medical letters, tax papers and anything else you would not hand to a stranger.
You can merge up to 50 files, up to 500 MB each. Very large files need more memory, so on a phone it may help to merge them in smaller groups.
Common uses
Join a cover letter and a CV into one application, put all the receipts for an expense claim together, combine chapters into one report, or collect signed pages into one document.
After merging, the new file is about the size of all the original files added together. If it is too large to send, use Compress PDF on the result.
Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and converted on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
How many PDFs can I merge?
From 2 to 50 files at a time, up to 500 MB each.
Can I change the order?
Yes. Drag the rows on a computer, or use the up and down arrows on any device. The order in the list is the order in the new PDF.
Will the quality change?
No. The pages are copied as they are, so text and images keep their quality.
What about password-protected PDFs?
A PDF that needs a password to open may not work. Remove the password in your PDF reader first.
Is it free?
Yes. Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
