How it works
Add your PDF
Open the document you want to mark as a draft or label with an owner.
Place your text or image
Type text or upload a logo, then drag and resize the watermark on a preview page. Adjust opacity in Settings; the placement applies to every page.
Download the marked PDF
Review the watermark against the page content and save a separate copy.
Mark drafts and confidential documents
Choose Text or Image / logo. Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP logo in the editor; PNG transparency is kept. Drag the mark anywhere and resize it by its corners.
The same relative position is applied to all pages, including rotated pages and documents with different page sizes. Use Previous page and Next page to check the placement. Opacity applies to both text and image watermarks.
Good to know
The watermark is added on top of each page. It does not lock the PDF; someone with PDF editing software could remove it. Embedded Noto fonts support Sinhala, Tamil, Hindi, Chinese and emoji as well as Latin letters. All work happens in your browser.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your documents are opened and processed on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Can I place an image watermark manually?
Yes. Choose Image / logo, upload your image, and drag or resize it in the PDF preview. Set the opacity, then apply the watermark to every page.
Can the watermark be removed?
A text watermark discourages copying but can be removed with PDF editing software. It is a label, not a lock.
Which characters can I use?
Latin letters, Sinhala, Tamil, Hindi, Chinese and emoji. Extra Noto fonts load from this site only when the watermark needs them.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
