    {"address":{"city":"Colombo"}} becomes a column named address.city.

Adds a small invisible mark (BOM) at the start of the file.

    How it works

    1. Paste or open JSON

Paste a list of objects from an API or open a .json file.

    2. Check the table

See the rows and columns at once. Nested objects become columns like address.city.

    3. Download the CSV

Download a .csv file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers.

    From JSON to a spreadsheet

Each object in the list becomes one row, and every key becomes a column. Objects do not need the same keys: all keys found in any row become columns, and missing values stay empty.

Nested objects are spread into columns with dotted names. Lists inside a row are kept as JSON text in one cell, so no data is lost.

    Opening the CSV in Excel

If Excel shows all data in one column, choose the semicolon separator: Excel in many European countries expects it. If accented letters look wrong, turn on "Make Excel show accents correctly".

    Questions

    Is my data uploaded?

No. The JSON is converted inside your browser and never leaves your device.

    What JSON can it read?

A list of objects works best. A single object becomes one row, and an object that holds a list (like {"items":[…]}) uses that list.

Are values with commas or quotes safe?

Yes. Such values are put in quotes the standard way, so spreadsheets read them correctly.
