    How it works

    1. Add your images

Choose JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF or HEIC images to frame with a border on your device.

    2. Check the conversion options

Adjust border width and colour, then inspect the result preview.

    3. Convert and download

Save your IMG results individually or download the converted images together as a ZIP.

A frame in any colour and width

Borders from one to two hundred pixels wrap your photo on all four sides in the colour you pick, growing the canvas rather than covering the picture. Thin dark keylines of a few pixels give prints a gallery finish and stop white skies from bleeding into white page backgrounds, while thick coloured bands turn snapshots into posters, badges and social cards.

Because the frame is painted outside the original pixels, image quality is untouched: no scaling, no cropping, no recompression of the scene itself. The same width and colour apply across the whole batch, so a product catalogue or team gallery gains a consistent framed identity in one pass.

    Matting prints and posts

Print shops recommend borders as safe handling margins and as visual matting that separates the artwork from its surroundings. On screen, a dark border makes bright phone photos pop in presentations, and a white border mimics classic print matting inside digital albums.

Oversized images are scaled to fit within 4096 pixels before framing, and the result row notes it. The final dimensions simply add twice the border width to each side, which layout tools and printers can rely on exactly.

    Framing without forwarding

Adding a border sounds trivial, but online framers still ask you to hand over the full photo first. This tool paints the frame inside your browser instead, so your images never leave your device for such a simple job, and neither do the family moments or client proofs they contain.

There is no account, no queue and no logo stamped onto your frame. Bordered downloads are freshly encoded files that omit hidden GPS data from the originals.

    Questions

Are my photos uploaded to add a border?

No. The border is painted in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.

Does the border cover part of my photo?

No. The canvas grows by twice the border width on each side, so every original pixel stays visible.

    What is the widest border?

200 px per side. Thin 2 to 8 px borders suit keylines; thick borders suit posters and social cards.

    Is it free?

Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
