How it works
Add your images
Choose TIFF images for tiff-to-webp on your device.
Set the quality
Move the quality slider to balance sharpness and file size, then check the preview.
Convert and download
Save your WEBP results individually or download the converted images together as a ZIP.
Why convert TIFF to WEBP?
WebP gives you smaller files than PNG with quality so high it looks lossless, perfect for publishing scanned pages on the web. Each TIFF page becomes its own compact WebP image.
Very old software may not open WebP, so prefer PNG when the recipient uses legacy tools. Pages are rendered at 150 DPI, fine for screens but not for high-end print.
Convert privately on your device
Add your TIFF images, set the quality, press Convert to WEBP, and download the finished files. Nothing is posted to a remote service — the conversion code executes on your device alone.
Convert up to 10 TIFF files at once (100 MB each, multi-page scans included — every page becomes its own file) and download each WEBP separately or grab them all as one ZIP. The live preview turns your TIFF into WEBP on screen before anything is saved, so you can confirm quality and transparency.
Good to know before you convert TIFF to WEBP
Use quality 90% or above for scans with fine print. For quick previews, 75–80% loads faster and still reads clearly.
Each scan keeps its file name, with numbered endings such as -1 and -2 for its pages, so WEBP results stay matched to their source. Keep the original TIFF files until you have checked the WEBP results — reconverting with different settings is free and private.
Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and converted on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
What happens with multi-page TIFFs?
Each page becomes its own WebP image, numbered in order, ready to embed on pages or attach to messages.
Which quality should I choose?
Use 90% or above for fine print you will read closely, and 75–80% for quick previews where loading speed matters.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
