    How it works

    1. Add your images

Choose GIF images for gif-to-tiff on your device.

    2. Nothing to set up

There are no settings — check the preview, then convert.

    3. Convert and download

Save your TIFF results individually or download the converted images together as a ZIP.

    Why convert GIF to TIFF?

Archiving animation frames as TIFF stills keeps every frame in a lossless, print-ready format at 150 DPI. Designers and archivists use this to preserve exact frames from GIF artwork.

Motion is lost — each frame becomes its own still TIFF, numbered in order. TIFFs are large, so a long animation produces a heavy set of files.

    Convert privately on your device

Add your GIF images, press Convert to TIFF, and download the finished files. Even multi-frame animations are handled frame by frame on your device, with no server round-trip involved.

Convert up to 10 GIF files at once (100 MB each, frames included — every frame of an animation becomes its own still) and download each TIFF separately or grab them all as one ZIP. The live preview turns your GIF into TIFF on screen before anything is saved, so you can confirm every page rendered.

Good to know before you convert GIF to TIFF

Convert the whole GIF, then keep only the frames you need for the archive. For everyday sharing, PNG or JPG stills are far smaller.

Each animation keeps its file name, with numbered endings such as -1 and -2 for its frames, so TIFF stills stay matched to their source. Keep the original GIF files until you have checked the TIFF results — reconverting with different settings is free and private.

    Questions

    Are my files uploaded?

No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and converted on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

    Do all GIF frames convert?

Yes. Every frame of the animation becomes its own still TIFF at 150 DPI, numbered in order for the archive.

Why are TIFF files so large?

TIFF stores every frame losslessly with print metadata, so long animations produce heavy file sets. Keep only the frames you truly need.

    Is it free?

Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
