How it works
Add marked images
Drop in scans or exports carrying a stamp, logo tint or highlight to scrub.
Sample the ink colour
Pick the exact mark shade, keep tolerance low to protect nearby artwork.
Save cleaned PNGs
Zoom edges in the preview, then download copies with the mark keyed away.
Surgical colour scrubbing for logos and stamps
Drafts, scans and exported mockups often carry a single intrusive ink — a red review stamp, a cyan highlight, a yellow marker wash or a faded logo tint — that obscures otherwise finished artwork. Rather than repainting by hand, sample that exact ink and let distance math dissolve only pixels close to it into transparency. Because tolerance defaults low, neighbouring illustration hues, skin tones and paper textures survive, while the targeted scribble, underline or badge tint lifts away cleanly for client-ready presentation and archival cleanup.
This differs from backdrop keyers because it assumes the unwanted colour lives inside the artwork, not around it, so precision matters more than coverage. Zoom to the stroke edge, pick the densest ink core, then creep tolerance upward until the halo thins but adjacent fills stay solid. Feathering helps here by turning anti-aliased rims semi-transparent instead of leaving dotted ghosts, which is critical for smalltype annotations, thin pen lines and semi-opaque highlighter strokes over printed text and diagrams.
Protect the artwork you keep
Inks bleed into paper fibres and printer dots scatter, so a single click rarely captures every pixel of a stamp without also nicking similar illustration colours. Work conservatively: scrub the bold core first at low tolerance, export, then re-sample residual fringe from the copy if needed, rather than cranking tolerance once and chewing through flesh tones or chart fills that share red or yellow components. For legal stamps over signatures, keep an untouched original archived, because aggressive scrubbing can thin the strokes beneath and render handwriting less legible in print.
Outputs are transparent PNGs so erased zones become genuine holes you can place over white, recolour or patch with cloned texture. JPG would refill holes with white and recompress edges into fresh artefacts, so avoid it for intermediate cleanup stages. Preview against both white and dark grounds to spot leftover tint specks, since pale yellow residue hides on white but glows against charcoal, and adjust tolerance in small increments until marks disappear without hollowing letterforms and icons.
Sensitive marks never quit your desk
Stamps often flag confidential, draft or legal status, so their pixels are handled exclusively by local code inside your own browser session. Remote scrubbing services typically ingest the full document to process one small mark, creating needless copies on infrastructure you cannot inspect, whereas here decoding, colour comparison and PNG encoding all occur in page memory that is discarded when you navigate away, keeping contracts, medical forms and unreleased designs away from third-party stores and crawlers.
There is no registration, no line and no time limit: open Remove specific color when a mark needs lifting, treat up to ten pages, download the cleaned PNGs and close the tab. Only the tool itself is cached for offline starts, never your files. Because originals stay intact, you can revisit the same scan with a different ink pick whenever reviewers add new annotation colours during revision rounds.
Questions
Are documents with stamps uploaded anywhere?
No. Scrubbing runs entirely in your browser. Your pages are never sent to a server.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
Will it damage similar colours in my artwork?
It can if tolerance is too high. Keep tolerance low, sample the darkest ink core, and preview closely so nearby fills stay solid.
Can it remove highlighter over text?
Often yes for light marker washes, but very saturated highlighting may share tones with the text. Try low tolerance first and expect faint residue on heavy marks.
