    How it works

    1. Add your images

Choose GIF images for gif-to-jpg on your device.

    2. Set the quality

Move the quality slider to balance sharpness and file size, then check the preview.

    3. Convert and download

Save your JPG results individually or download the converted images together as a ZIP.

    Why convert GIF to JPG?

JPG files are much smaller than PNG, which makes them perfect for sharing stills from an animation by email, chat or upload forms with size limits. Converting GIF frames to JPG gives you compact photos of any moment in the animation.

JPG has no transparency and uses lossy compression, so tiny details may soften slightly. Transparent pixels in the GIF are filled with white, and each frame is saved as a separate JPG file.

    Convert privately on your device

Add your GIF images, set the quality, press Convert to JPG, and download the finished files. The whole process happens locally on your machine, so not a single frame of your animation travels across the network.

Convert up to 10 GIF files at once (100 MB each, frames included — every frame of an animation becomes its own still) and download each JPG separately or grab them all as one ZIP. The live preview turns your GIF into JPG on screen before anything is saved, so you can confirm the quality setting looks right.

Good to know before you convert GIF to JPG

A quality of 80–90% looks the same as the original to most people while keeping files small. Use a higher value if the frame contains small text you need to keep sharp.

Each animation keeps its file name, with numbered endings such as -1 and -2 for its frames, so JPG stills stay matched to their source. Keep the original GIF files until you have checked the JPG results — reconverting with different settings is free and private.

    Questions

    Are my files uploaded?

No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and converted on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

    Do all GIF frames convert?

Yes. Every frame of the animation becomes its own JPG still, numbered in order, so a ten-frame GIF gives you ten JPG files.

    What happens to transparent areas?

JPG cannot store transparency, so see-through pixels are filled with white. If you need transparency, convert to PNG instead.

    Is it free?

Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
