    How it works

    1. Open a picture

Open a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP or AVIF file. Every pixel is read at once.

    2. Pick a style

Choose arrays, CSV or CSS form, and whether to include the opacity value.

    3. Copy or download

Copy the list into code, or download it as a text file.

    Reading pixel values

Every pixel becomes one line of three numbers from 0 to 255: red, green and blue. Arrays suit JavaScript and Python, CSV suits spreadsheets, and CSS form pastes straight into stylesheets as rgb(...) or rgba(...).

Large pictures are sampled down to 512 pixels on the longest side so the list stays readable; the summary tells you when this happens. For exact full-size data, shrink the picture yourself first.

    What the numbers mean

Each number counts how strongly that colour channel shines in the pixel: 255, 0, 0 is pure red, 0, 0, 0 is black, and 255, 255, 255 is white. The optional fourth number is opacity, where 255 is solid and 0 is invisible.

Fully transparent pixels still report their hidden colour numbers, because the file stores them. If you need only visible colours, flatten transparency before converting.

    Sampled on your machine

The picture is opened and sampled inside your browser by code on this page. The pixels are never transmitted anywhere, which keeps personal photos and client artwork strictly yours.

There is no history and no cloud copy. Close the page and the list exists only where you pasted or saved it.

    Questions

    Is my picture uploaded anywhere?

No. The pixels are read inside your browser. Your picture never leaves your device.

Why does a big picture give fewer pixels?

Pictures are sampled down to 512 pixels on the longest side so the list stays readable. The summary notes when sampling happened.

    What is the alpha value?

Opacity from 0 (invisible) to 255 (solid). Turn on the alpha switch to add it as a fourth number on every pixel.

    Is it free?

Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
