Why convert TIFF to PNG?
TIFF scans are lossless but heavy, and many web apps will not accept them. PNG keeps every pixel exactly while producing files that open anywhere, from browsers to chat apps.
Every page of a multi-page TIFF becomes its own PNG file, numbered in order. Very large scans can still make big PNGs, though always smaller than the TIFF.
Convert privately on your device
Add your TIFF images, press Convert to PNG, and download the finished files. Scanned pages often contain sensitive material, which is why this tool keeps every byte on your own machine.
Convert up to 10 TIFF files at once (100 MB each, multi-page scans included — every page becomes its own file) and download each PNG separately or grab them all as one ZIP. The live preview turns your TIFF into PNG on screen before anything is saved, so you can confirm transparency survived.
Good to know before you convert TIFF to PNG
TIFF is common for scanned documents and print archives. Convert the pages you need to share and keep the TIFF as your long-term master copy.
Each scan keeps its file name, with numbered endings such as -1 and -2 for its pages, so PNG results stay matched to their source. Keep the original TIFF files until you have checked the PNG results — reconverting with different settings is free and private.
Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and converted on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
What happens with multi-page TIFFs?
Every page becomes its own PNG, numbered in order, so a five-page scan gives you five PNG files ready to share or attach.
Is any quality lost?
No. Both TIFF and PNG are lossless, so each PNG is pixel-for-pixel identical to its page.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
