From messy markup to clean words
Copying from the web drags along tags, styles, scripts and invisible characters that break notes apps, forms and plain-text editors. This converter decodes entities such as & and 😀 back into real characters, removes scripts and styles completely, and turns structure tags like paragraphs, headings, list items and line breaks into proper new lines before stripping the rest.
The result is honest text with no hidden markup: safe to paste into code, spreadsheets, subtitles and anywhere formatting would cause trouble. Multiple blank lines collapse to one gap, trailing spaces are trimmed, and zero-width characters that sabotage searches are removed.
Links and line breaks, your way
Keep the links switch on to preserve web addresses as readable text, which suits research notes and archives where the source matters. Turn it off to drop every http and www address for a pure reading copy, for example when cleaning an article to read later without distractions.
Keep the line-break switch on for paragraphs that mirror the original layout, ideal for documents and messages. Turn it off to collapse everything into a single flowing line, which fits single-line form fields, database cells and tools that dislike multi-line input.
