Copy the heading or download it as a TXT file.
What Title Case capitalises
Title Case capitalises the principal words of a heading and leaves short connecting words such as a, an, the, and, or, of, in, on, to and with lowercase when they appear in the middle. The first and last words of every line are always capitalised, as is the first word after a colon or a sentence-ending mark. For example, a guide to the stars becomes A Guide to the Stars.
Words after a hyphen each get a capital, so well-known becomes Well-Known. Punctuation, numbers and spacing are preserved exactly, and each line converts independently so a list of headings converts in one go. Compare the result with your publisher style guide, because conventions for prepositions vary slightly between guides.
Acronyms and fully-uppercase text
With Keep acronyms on, words that are already fully uppercase and longer than one letter, such as NASA, BBC and HTML, are preserved while other words are recased. This suits technical headings where brand and project acronyms must survive. The English pronoun I is handled correctly and never becomes a lowercase i inside a converted heading.
Turn Keep acronyms off when the heading was typed with Caps Lock and every word should be recased from scratch. In that mode the same acronyms become normal title words, so re-add any required capitals by hand. Paste only the headings you want changed when the document also contains body text.
Private by design: convert without uploading
This title case converter runs entirely in your browser. Your headings are processed on your own device with a small Unicode-aware script that respects accented letters. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is saved after you close the page, and it works offline after the first visit. Check the live preview before you copy or download.
That matters for unpublished titles, video headlines and internal report names you are polishing. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit, and you can process up to 10 files of 500 MB each in one go. Close the tab when you have finished with sensitive text.
