Paste the colours
Write one colour per line: #FF0000 or FF0000 — use all 6-digit or all 8-digit codes.
See the picture
Colours fill row by row into the smallest square that fits, painted as you type.
Download the PNG
Save the painted picture as a PNG file.
The colour format
Each line is one pixel written as hexadecimal: #FF0000 is red, #00FF00 is green, #0000FF is blue. The hash is optional, and 3-digit shorthand like #F00 expands automatically. With 8 digits the last two set opacity, from 00 (invisible) to FF (solid).
Do not mix 6-digit and 8-digit codes in one list; pick one form for the whole picture. Colours fill row by row into the smallest square that fits your count.
Where hex lists come from
Design tools, palette exports and generated art often describe pictures as hex strings. Pasting such a list here turns it back into the picture, which makes it easy to check gradients and spot a wrong value.
Keep lists under 250,000 colours. Anything larger should be split or shrunk first, since every entry becomes real image data.
Painted locally, kept locally
Your list is painted into a PNG by code running in this tab. Because no server takes part, brand palettes and unreleased artwork never leave your hands.
There is no account and no saved history. Close the tab and both the list and the picture are gone unless you saved them.
Questions
Is my colour list uploaded?
No. The picture is painted inside your browser. Your list never leaves your device.
Why was my list rejected?
Every line must hold a 3, 6 or 8-digit hex colour. Mixing 6-digit and 8-digit codes in one list is not supported — use one form throughout.
How are the colours arranged?
Row by row into the smallest square that fits: the first line is the top-left pixel, filling left to right, top to bottom.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
