Soft corners, modern feel
Rounding clips each corner to a smooth arc of your chosen radius, from a subtle two-pixel softening up to a full stadium or circle when the radius reaches half the shorter side. Avatars, profile pictures, product cards and presentation slides all look instantly more contemporary with tamed corners, matching the rounded aesthetic of modern phones, apps and design systems.
The radius is capped automatically at half the shorter side, so extreme slider values gracefully become circles and pills instead of breaking the geometry. Edges are anti-aliased during clipping, leaving silky curves with no jagged steps even on high-contrast borders.
Transparency and JPG corners
PNG and WebP output keeps the clipped corners genuinely transparent, so the rounded photo floats cleanly over any background, slide or web page. JPG has no transparency, so its corners are filled with white: choose white-matted layouts for JPG avatars, or pick PNG whenever the image must overlay coloured designs.
Images larger than 4096 pixels are scaled down before rounding, flagged on the result row. The photo itself is never stretched; only the corners are reshaped, and every pixel inside stays pin sharp.
Rounded on your machine alone
Corner geometry is calculated and applied by scripts executing locally in this page, with your image files never departing your computer. Avatars and ID-style photos, which tie directly to identity, therefore avoid the needless exposure of a cloud round-trip.
Working offline-capable means no queues, no accounts and no watermarks tucked into the curve. Rounded downloads are newly written files that discard concealed location metadata from the source shots.
Questions
Are my photos uploaded to round corners?
No. Rounding runs in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.
Why are JPG corners white?
JPG cannot store transparency, so clipped corners are filled white. Use PNG or WebP for see-through corners.
What is the maximum radius?
Half the shorter side. At that radius a square becomes a circle and a rectangle becomes a stadium shape.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
