Settings
No settings needed. Paste Base64 or a full data URL; the picture appears as you paste.
Your text never leaves this deviceHow it works
Paste the code
Paste raw Base64, or a full data URL such as data:image/png;base64,… — either works.
Check the picture
The decoded bytes are validated, so you see the real picture with its size before saving.
Download the file
Save the picture with the detected file type: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, BMP and more.
Raw Base64 or data URLs
Paste the raw code on its own, or a full data URL such as data:image/png;base64,iVBOR… — both work, because any data: prefix is stripped before decoding. Spaces and line breaks are ignored, so wrapped email-style Base64 pastes fine.
The decoded bytes are checked before anything is shown: if they form a picture, you get a preview and a download with the right file type. If the code was cut off or holds characters outside the Base64 alphabet, you get a plain explanation instead of a broken file.
Getting a clean decode
Copy the complete code with no missing characters at the end; a single lost character shifts every pixel that follows. If your code holds percent signs or other URL symbols, it was URL-encoded and must be decoded once more before pasting.
Very large pictures decode fine, but remember that Base64 runs one third larger than the picture, so a long code hides an even longer download. Save the result under a clear name so you can find it again later.
Only your browser sees it
Decoding happens entirely on your own machine: the pasted text is turned back into bytes by code running in this page. There is no server step, so your pictures are never uploaded, logged or kept anywhere else.
Close the tab and nothing remains — the code you pasted lives only in the page's memory and disappears with it. No account or sign-up is ever needed, and the tool works offline once loaded.
Questions
Is anything I paste uploaded?
No. Decoding runs inside your browser, so pasted text and pictures never leave your device.
Why does it say my Base64 is invalid?
Base64 uses only A–Z, a–z, 0–9, + / and =. Other characters, or a length that is not a multiple of 4, mean the code was changed or cut off.
It decoded, but the picture looks wrong. Why?
The code was probably cut off or edited: one missing character shifts every byte after it. Copy the full original code again and paste it whole.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
