Why convert ICO to JPG?
Extracting icon artwork as JPG stills makes it easy to preview icon sets, document them, or attach them where PNG is awkward. Every embedded size becomes its own compact JPG on a white background.
Icons are tiny, and JPG compression softens their crisp edges slightly. Transparency in the icon is replaced with white, and each size becomes a separate file.
Convert privately on your device
Add your ICO images, set the quality, press Convert to JPG, and download the finished files. The icon container is opened locally on your machine; none of its embedded images are ever uploaded.
Convert up to 10 ICO files at once (100 MB each, every embedded size converts, largest first) and download each JPG separately or grab them all as one ZIP. The live preview turns your ICO into JPG on screen before anything is saved, so you can confirm the quality setting looks right.
Good to know before you convert ICO to JPG
JPG suits previews and documentation. If you plan to edit the artwork, convert to PNG instead to avoid compression softening the pixels.
Each icon keeps its file name, with numbered endings such as -1 and -2 for its embedded sizes, so JPG files stay matched to their source. Keep the original ICO files until you have checked the JPG results — reconverting with different settings is free and private.
Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your files are opened and converted on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Which icon images do I get?
All of them. Every embedded size becomes its own JPG on a white background, so the full icon set is preserved.
What happens to transparency?
JPG cannot store transparency, so see-through parts of the icon are filled with white. Use ICO to PNG when you need transparency.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
