How it works
Add your images
Choose up to 10 images — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF or HEIC — straight from your device.
Tune the effect
Move the contrast slider until subjects pop without clipping shadows.
Download the result
Preview each filtered copy, then save them one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Give flat photos punch
Overcast days and office lighting produce grey, lifeless images where nothing stands out. Raising contrast stretches darks darker and brights brighter, so subjects separate from backgrounds.
Negative values do the opposite on purpose: portraits and dreamy landscapes gain a soft, hazy veil. Both directions are one slider, and the preview shows the change live.
Finding the sweet spot
Too much contrast clips shadows into solid black and burns faces white, so faces and text deserve restraint. The default +30 lifts most daylight photos without damage.
Contrast pairs well with its neighbors: brighten first, then add contrast, then adjust saturation. Each tool keeps your original safe, so layer effects freely.
No uploads, no traces
Contrast is recomputed pixel by pixel inside your own browser tab. The image never leaves your device, so private screenshots and family photos stay exactly where they belong.
Close the tab and the session is gone: no gallery, no history, no leftovers cached anywhere. What you process here exists only on your machine.
Questions
Are my images uploaded when I use this?
No. Everything runs inside your browser on your own device. Your files are never sent to us or to anyone else.
What does negative contrast do?
It squeezes darks and lights closer together, giving a soft, hazy, low-energy look that suits dreamy portraits and foggy scenes.
Does contrast change colors?
It works on brightness, but strong settings make colors look more intense as a side effect. Pair it with the saturation tool for full control.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
