Settings
No settings needed. Paste a data URL; the picture appears as you paste.
Your text never leaves this deviceHow it works
Paste the data URL
Paste the full text starting with data:image/… — Base64 and plain-encoded URLs both work.
Check the picture
The bytes are validated, so you see the real picture with its size before saving.
Download the file
Save it with the detected file type: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, BMP and more.
Which data URLs work
Paste the complete URL starting with data:, including its MIME part, for example data:image/png;base64,iVBOR…. URLs with ;base64 carry Base64 bytes; URLs without it carry percent-encoded bytes, and both are accepted.
Only image URLs can be previewed here: data:text/plain,… and other non-picture types are refused with a clear message naming the type that was found.
When decoding fails
The most common cause is a cut-off paste: editors and chats often trim very long URLs. Compare the end of your paste with the original, and copy it again in one piece.
Some pages split URLs across lines for display. Rejoin the pieces into a single line with no spaces before pasting, unless the spaces were percent-encoded as %20.
Decoded where it sits
Everything happens in this page: the data URL is decoded by your browser into a file you can keep. It is never sent anywhere, so private screenshots embedded in code stay private.
No sign-up, no queue and no history. Paste a URL, save the picture, close the tab, and the pasted text is gone with the page.
Questions
Is my data URL sent to a server?
No. The URL is decoded inside your browser. Nothing you paste ever leaves your device.
Which image types come out?
The MIME part of the URL decides the file type: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, BMP, AVIF, HEIC, ICO and TIFF are named correctly on download.
It says the URL is not a data URL. Why?
It must start with data: and hold a comma between the header and the payload. Plain web addresses and raw Base64 without the header belong in other tools.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
