Add your images
Choose JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF or HEIC images to sample.
Click to pick
Select a file, then click the exact pixel you want. The swatch and values update at once.
Copy the report
Read Hex, RGB, HSL and position in the table and copy the codes you need.
Sample the exact pixel
Clicking stores the point as fractions of width and height, then the engine reads that pixel from the full-resolution file rather than the small preview. You get the true stored colour, not a scaled guess.
The readout shows Hex for code, RGB numbers for editors, HSL for design tweaks and the x and y position with image size. Pick again to test nearby pixels for edges and anti-aliasing.
How picking stays exact
Add images, choose one in the list and click the detail you care about, such as a logo fill or a thread colour. The saved point travels with the file, so converting again keeps the same spot.
Sampling reads pixels locally, so the photo never needs to travel. The work happens in this page and the report is built from in-memory pixels.
Use the colour codes
Copy Hex into CSS, slides or paint apps, or use RGB in spreadsheets and docs that need numbers. HSL helps you find lighter or darker mates by moving only the lightness value.
If nothing is clicked yet the centre pixel is shown, so every file has a value before you pick. For channel study pair this with Separate channels to see where that tone sits.
Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Images are opened and sampled inside your browser. They never leave your device.
Why full resolution instead of preview?
Previews are scaled and smoothed, which shifts edge colours. Reading the original pixels gives the true file value.
What if I have not clicked yet?
The centre pixel is reported by default, so you always see a value. Click any point to replace it with your choice.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
