Instant nostalgia, exact proportions
The polaroid frame adds slim six-percent margins on the top and sides with a deeper twenty-two percent base, echoing the unmistakable instant-print silhouette everyone recognises. That wide bottom is the traditional caption zone, ready for a handwritten-style note added later, and it gives portraits and wedding shots their beloved retro gravity.
Frame colour defaults to gallery white but accepts any tint: warm cream for vintage weddings, matte black for gallery drama, or pastel shades for party invites. The photo itself is never scaled or cropped; the frame simply grows around it in true instant-print proportion.
Gifts, boards and invites
Polaroid-styled prints anchor mood boards, guest books and thank-you cards with a handmade feel that plain rectangles lack. Event photographers batch-frame galleries so clients receive a cohesive set, and teachers frame classroom moments for displays that look pinned rather than printed.
Oversized originals are fitted within 4096 pixels before framing, noted on the result row. Output dimensions follow the frame math exactly, so print templates and collage grids align first time.
Nostalgia developed at home
Instant prints celebrate personal memories, which deserve to be framed without being forwarded to a distant server. This polaroid effect is rendered wholly inside your browser from files on your own disk, so your moments stay yours from snapshot to framed keepsake.
No account, no upload queue and no watermark compete with the frame. Finished polaroids are fresh encodings that omit hidden location data, safe for gifting and posting.
Questions
Are my photos sent to a server for framing?

How big is the polaroid frame?
Sides and top are 6% of the shorter side; the base is 22%. The photo itself is never cropped.
Can I write on the wide base?
