    How it works

    1. Add your GIFs

Choose animated GIF files to inspect frame by frame.

    2. Step through frames

Use the preview gallery to move frame by frame and spot the exact moment you want.

    3. Save the best stills

Download single frames you like or grab every frame together as a ZIP.

    A player for still inspection

GIF player decodes the full frame stack so you can flip from first to last like shuffling prints on a table. Each gallery card is one composited PNG still at original size, ideal for catching blinks, poses or text pops.

Use the file list to switch GIFs, then move through cards to compare motion beats. Numbered names keep story order when you save several frames for a contact sheet.

    Playback without a timeline

Add GIFs and browse without play buttons or speed sliders: stepping is manual so you control the pace. Transparency is already merged per frame, so what you see is what each PNG download holds.

Playback preparation stays in this window, with no outside storage. Decoding runs on your own hardware and cards vanish when the tab closes.

    Keep what matters

Save the cleanest smile, the sharpest product angle or the frame where captions align, then discard the rest. Because stills are PNG, edges and lettering survive for slides and docs.

Note on timing: frames are stills, so original delays are not preserved or played back. For bulk still extraction with numbered files see GIF frames, which shares this engine with gallery-first wording.

    Questions

Are my GIFs uploaded to a server?

No. Your GIFs are decoded and shown inside your browser. They never leave your device.

Does it play with original timing?

No. This is a step-through gallery of stills for inspection. Timing data is not preserved because PNG stills carry no delays.

How is this different from GIF frames?

The engine is the same, but this page is built for stepping and picking best moments, while GIF frames is built for bulk still downloads.

    Is it free?

Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
