100% sharpens naturally. Higher values look crisper but can add bright halos.
PNG keeps every shade exactly. JPG and WebP use the quality below.
Used for JPG and WebP only. PNG is always saved losslessly.
How it works
Add your images
Choose up to 10 images — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF or HEIC — straight from your device.
Tune the effect
Set the strength: 100% suits most photos, higher for text, lower for faces.
Download the result
Preview each filtered copy, then save them one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Crisp edges in one slider
Sharpening boosts the contrast along edges, which is how eyes judge focus. A slightly soft photo of a pet, a document or a landscape can look clearly better after a modest pass.
The default of 100% suits most shots. Push higher for text and line art that must read clearly; stay lower for faces, where too much sharpening roughens skin.
Avoiding halos and grain
Sharpening cannot invent detail the camera never captured, and strong settings draw bright outlines called halos around dark edges. Zoom into the preview and stop just before halos appear.
Noisy night shots get noisier when sharpened, so use a light touch there. As always, your original file is never modified; only the downloaded copy carries the effect.
Processed where it sits
The mathematics of sharpening runs locally in a background worker on your machine. Your image bytes are decoded, sharpened and re-encoded without ever crossing the internet.
Nothing is logged about your pictures and no traces are kept after you leave. Open the tool, sharpen up to ten files, save them, and carry on with your day.
Questions
Are my images uploaded when I use this?
No. Everything runs inside your browser on your own device. Your files are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Can sharpening fix a blurry photo?
It makes edges look crisper but cannot recover detail the camera never captured. Slightly soft shots improve a lot; badly blurred ones only a little.
What does 0% strength do?
Nothing at all. At 0% every pixel is left exactly as it was, which is handy for comparing before and after.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
