How it works
Add your photos
Choose between 2 and 20 images; their list order sets the spiral sequence.
Set columns and cells
Pick 1 to 6 columns, the cell size in pixels and the background color.
Download the spiral
Save the single PNG spiral and share or print it.
A collage that follows nature's curve
The Fibonacci spiral appears in shells, sunflowers and galaxies, and it gives photo arrangements a natural flow that plain grids lack. The first photo anchors the outer corner and each following picture winds inward, so the eye travels through your story toward the center.
Every photo keeps its proportions inside an even square cell, with the background shade filling the letterbox edges. Larger cells show fine detail for exhibitions, while smaller cells keep the whole spiral visible in one social post.
Order is the story
Unlike a grid read row by row, the spiral path curls around the frame: across the top, down the right side, back along the bottom and up again. Reorder the list and the winding changes completely, so experiment until the journey feels right.
Start with your establishing shot and end with the punchline at the heart of the spiral. Two or three columns make a calm, slow curl; five or six columns pack the journey with many small moments.
Memories wound locally
Spiral collages are usually made from meaningful sets: a trip day by day, a child's first year, a project from sketch to launch. Handing that timeline to an online collage maker means trusting a stranger with your narrative.
This tool computes the spiral path and paints every tile on your own hardware. Photos are decoded in memory, arranged along the curve and encoded to PNG without any detour, so the finished keepsake exists only where you saved it.
Questions
Are my photos sent to a server?
No. The spiral is computed and drawn inside your browser. Your photos never leave your device.
How is a spiral different from a grid?
Photos follow the spiral path — across the top, down the side and winding inward — instead of plain rows, so the collage leads the eye to the center.
How many photos fit in one spiral?
From 2 to 20 images per spiral, up to 100 MB each. If the cells would exceed 4096 pixels, they shrink proportionally with a note.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
