From text to a word cloud picture
The generator counts every word in your text, skips common filler words such as the, and, of and to, then draws the most frequent words with bigger type for higher counts. The result is a 1200 by 800 PNG where size shows emphasis at a glance, which is ideal for summarising feedback, essays, speeches and interview transcripts. Words are placed left to right with wrapping so the picture stays readable on slides and posters.
Set Max words between 10 and 300 to control density: fewer words gives a bold poster, more words shows long-tail vocabulary. Rectangle fills the frame for documents, while Circle clips the art to a round badge that suits profile graphics and stickers. If the summary says only a few words were found, paste more text or lower the Max words setting.
Colours and readability
Pick a dark word colour on a light background, or a light word colour on a dark background, so the cloud reads from a distance. The generator varies size and opacity by frequency while keeping your chosen hue, so the top word dominates without hiding smaller ones. Test the PNG at the size you will actually use, because very small words in a 300-word cloud may blur when printed tiny.
Background fills the whole image, so the PNG is ready to drop into slides without extra editing. For overlay use, recolour or trim the image in any editor afterwards. Common words are skipped automatically, but proper nouns and domain terms always show when they are frequent, which is exactly what you want for topic discovery.
Private by design: create without uploading
This word cloud generator runs entirely in your browser. Your text is counted and drawn on your own device with a built-in canvas routine and no external libraries. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is saved after you close the page, and it works offline after the first visit. Preview the image before you download the PNG file.
That makes it safe for survey responses, journal drafts and internal documents you are visualising. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit, and you can process up to 10 files of 500 MB each in one go. Close the tab when you have finished with sensitive material.
