How it works
Pick the canvas size
Set the width and height in pixels; 1920 by 1080 suits full-HD overlays.
Generate the PNG
The tool creates a blank canvas where every pixel is fully transparent.
Download and layer
Save the transparent PNG and stack graphics, text or watermarks on it.
A clean base for overlays
Video editors, stream overlays and design tools often need an empty transparent sheet to build on: a lower third, a watermark layer, or a frame that floats above footage. This tool hands you exactly that, with every pixel at zero opacity.
The default 1920 by 1080 matches full-HD video, so the PNG drops straight onto a timeline without scaling. Shrink it to a small square for icon work or stretch it to 4096 pixels for large-format print layouts.
True transparency, not white
A white picture and a transparent picture look alike on a white page, but only the transparent one lets layers beneath show through. The file here keeps its alpha channel intact, so editors see a checkerboard, not a white box.
Open the download in any editor and paint, paste or type on top. The untouched areas stay see-through, which is exactly what compositing, masking and watermark workflows require.
Blank canvases, zero exposure
Even an empty canvas can leak project details when made online: the dimensions of an unreleased video, the aspect ratio of a stealth campaign, the footprint of a new stream layout. Generating it on your own machine reveals none of that.
No blank-file service receives your size choices and no session record is kept. The canvas is allocated in your tab, encoded to PNG there, and the whole errand finishes without a single packet describing your project.
Questions
Is the generated file sent to a server?
No. The transparent canvas is created inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded and nothing leaves your device.
Is the PNG really transparent?
Yes. Every pixel has zero opacity, so layers beneath show through in any editor that supports transparency.
What sizes can I make?
Any width and height from 64 to 4096 pixels. The default 1920 by 1080 suits full-HD video overlays.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits.
